The Problem
When your products move across multiple regions and fulfillment channels, your inventory data ends up in silos — each one operating independently, each one requiring manual attention. There is no unified picture of what is actually in stock, no consistent way to calculate how many weeks of supply remain, and no early warning system when levels start to drop.
By the time someone notices a problem, it is usually already too late. Stockouts are caught reactively. Replenishment decisions are made on gut feel or outdated numbers. The ops team spends more time fighting fires than managing the business.
How We Solved It
We built a fully integrated inventory intelligence system that pulls live data from every fulfillment source into a single operational view — refreshed every 15 minutes, automatically.
Every SKU is tracked across all regions simultaneously. The system calculates weeks of supply in real time, color-codes each product by urgency (Critical, Warning, Normal), and auto-sorts the dashboard so the highest-risk items are always at the top. Nothing important gets buried.
Underneath the dashboard runs a tiered alert engine. When stock crosses an early-warning threshold, the right people are notified automatically via Slack. When it drops to a critical level, escalation happens via email — without anyone needing to notice first. The ops team controls every threshold and toggle directly from a simple interface — no technical support required, ever.
Discontinued SKUs can be hidden from reporting without deleting data. Order tracking, shipping analytics, and unit economics per SKU and region are all built into the same system.
Impact
- Proactive, not reactive — the team sees problems weeks before they become stockouts
- Automatic escalation — the right people are notified at the right time, every time, without manual monitoring
- Single source of truth — all regions, all channels, one live view updated every 15 minutes
- Fully ops-controlled — thresholds, alert toggles, and SKU visibility are managed directly by the team, no developers needed
- Scales with the catalogue — new SKUs are picked up automatically as the product range grows
