The Problem
Creating and publishing social content meant juggling multiple tools and manual steps: writing captions repeatedly, designing post images by hand, keeping content varied without duplication, chasing approvals over email or chat, and posting manually — around 2–4 hours a day.
With no central view, teams lost track of what was drafted, approved or published, and risked duplicate, missed or unapproved posts and inconsistent brand messaging across channels.
How It Works
A new row in Google Sheets triggers AI caption generation tuned to the topic, brand context and content goal, formatted and optimized for the platform. A matching post image is generated automatically and saved to Google Drive, with the sheet logging the caption, image URL and status (pending, approved, published).
Approval emails go out automatically and posts are blocked until approved — only approved content publishes, and the live post URL is written back to the sheet. The result is one centralized, auditable control panel for the entire content pipeline.
Impact
- Daily presence without the daily grind — captions and images generated automatically, in a consistent brand voice
- ~50–55 hours saved per team each month — more than a full-time resource freed, with less reliance on designers
- Approval-safe publishing — nothing goes live without explicit sign-off; no duplicate or missed posts
- One control panel — every draft, approval and published URL tracked and auditable in a single sheet
